Ellen is a university student and a theatre enthusiast, interested in an eclectic mix of shows. This is her fifth Edinburgh Fringe as a reviewer. Although having watched almost every Shakespeare play adapted for an Edinburgh stage, she also enjoys politically-charged theatre and has an interest in new and original writing. Of course, she also considers the occasional musical good for the soul. In the other eleven months of the year when she’s waiting for the festival to return, Ellen juggles contributing to student journalism and political publications while trying to maintain a healthy sense of humour.
